FAQs / Frequently Asked Questions

What types of sessions do you offer?

We offer sessions that are inspired by British military training techniques, but suitable for all adults, so no military experience is required.

We also offer HIIT (High Intensity Intervals Training) and circuits-based sessions.

All sessions involve cardio and strength elements.

Not at all!

Our sessions are designed to suit all levels of fitness in mixed groups and you’ll meet people fitter than you, but you’ll also be fitter than others.

We’re here to help you get fitter and we all have to start somewhere (please see my own story!).

No-one is going to judge you 🙂

All of our sessions are designed to push you outside of your comfort zone.

If at any time you should feel like you need more of a push, let one of our instructors know and they’ll be more than happy to oblige!

Not at all.

Our training is delivered using military-inspired techniques and you don’t need to have any previous military experience to join us.

We do offer a pathway to join the UK armed forces, so if you’re interested, please check out our Join The Military programme.

PMF has the one of the most supportive fitness communities you’ll find.

Our members and instructors are fully supportive of you and will encourage you on your journey.

Everyone has to start somewhere and build from that point – we’ve all been there.

We train in the private, gated grounds of the Chateau Impney Estate, so there’s no prying eyes to worry about.

Whilst they are typcially held on Monday and Thursday evenings at 7pm and Sunday mornings at 9.30am, times can vary, so it’s best to check on our events calendar for the latest available sessions.

Cancellations are always a last resort!

We only cancel sessions due to severe weather, or where the safety of our members could be put at risk.

We do our best to notify everyone in the event of disruptions and have a dedicated WhatsApp group for this.

Sessions usually take place at the Chateau Impney Estate just off the A38, towards Wychbold.

This can vary depending on the day and type of session, so please check the specific session page for details.

Occasionally we’ll hold ad-hoc events in places such as Malvern.

We offer monthly prepaid plans for £34 (£30 for blue light personnel) and pay as you go for £6 per session and you are welcome to try a session for free (2nd session is free).

Prices are subject to change and are detailed on the individual session pages

All regular and reserve forces members and veterans can train for FREE.

You are free to cancel at any time, but we hope you’ll stay with us! 🙂

All of our sessions require pre-booking to allow us to manage them more efficiently.

Access to Impney Park is currently gated and gates are only opened 15 minutes prior to the start of a session.

Please bring your own drink in a bottle of up to 500ml.

Good quality trainers with decent grips are recommended for the outdoor sessions.

Comfortable, non-restrictive training clothes are the best option and in cold / wet conditions and as we’re training outdoors, gloves are highly recommended, but not essential, even in warmer weather.

Layering up is the way to go!
